Aline Smithson, who was inspired by her travels in Nagano Prefecture and along the Nakasendo, will be joined by other international artists such as: Mary Pat Reeve, Donna Tramontozzi, Sandra Klein who will all be in attendance to talk about their work and the influence of their experiences in the region on their work.

While viewing their prints, you can interact with these two internationally celebrated artists, as well as other artists and participants. If you purchase a photo book or print, you can have it signed by the artist on the spot. We will also be serving drinks and canapés, including wine and beer. 7:30PM~9:30PM VIP French course dinner with main guests
Venue: Hotel Otowa No Mori “Cotswolds House”
This is a wonderful plan that includes a gorgeous full-course dinner prepared by the famous chefs at Otowa No Mori, as well as drinks such as wine and beer.
We will honour the guest artists, including Aline Smithson and Hiroshi Watanabe, who have come to Japan from overseas, as well as some KFF jurors and portfolio reviewers, and the funds raised (other than for food and drink) will be donated to KFF operations.
Tickets required in advance: 20,000 yen per person. Residents of the area around Karuizawa (Komoro City, Saku City, Miyota Town, Tomi City, Annaka City, Naganohara Town, Tsumagoi Village, and Karuizawa Town) will receive a 4,000 yen discount.
