This is a wonderful plan that includes a gorgeous full-course dinner prepared by the famous chefs at Otowa No Mori, as well as drinks such as wine and beer.

We will honour the guest artists, including Aline Smithson and Hiroshi Watanabe, who have come to Japan from overseas, as well as some KFF jurors and portfolio reviewers, and the funds raised (other than for food and drink) will be donated to KFF operations.

Tickets required in advance: 20,000 yen per person. Residents of the area around Karuizawa (Komoro City, Saku City, Miyota Town, Tomi City, Annaka City, Naganohara Town, Tsumagoi Village, and Karuizawa Town) will receive a 4,000 yen discount.

塩澤一洋の写真術はプラス思考：写真の原点を定め、そこに要素を加えていくことによって二次元、三次元（＋奥行き）、四次元（＋時間軸）へと時空を広げ、心象を作品へと構築していく。

このワークショップでは、さまざまな例を見ながらコンセプトを学び、その手法と撮影手順を会得した後、講師とともに軽井沢の街を撮影しながら、原点シコウの写真術を実践的に身につけます。

Workshop “The Art of Photography: Back to the Basics” by Kazuhiro Shiozawa

Venue: Karuizawa Tourism Promotion Center 2F

The art of photography by Kazuhiro Shiozawa is based on a positive outlook: by establishing the basics of photography and then adding elements to it, he expands the space-time continuum into two dimensions, three dimensions (+ depth), and four dimensions (+ time axis), and constructs mental images into works of art.

In this workshop, you will learn the concept by looking at various examples, and after mastering the techniques, you will apply the photographic techniques, while photographing the town of Karuizawa with the instructor.

Participation fee: 2000 yen per person. Participate with a friend: 1800 yen per person（please bring cash to the venue)

母の日の感謝の気持ちを込めて、フォトグラファーたちが追分公園に集まり、みなさまの素敵な家族写真を撮影いたします。もちろんおひとりさまで来ていただいても大丈夫！塩澤一洋先生や、KFFクリエイティブ・ディレクターの野辺地ジョージも参加します。

そして、チェリスト蒼井大地やその他ミュージシャンによる森のコンサートも開催します。

Sunday, May 11th: Mother's Day Family Photo Session & Forest Concert at Oiwake Park

To express our gratitude on Mother's Day, photographers will gather at Oiwake Park to take wonderful family photos of everyone. Of course, it's okay to come alone! Kazuhiro Shiozawa and KFF Creative Director George Nobechi will also be participating.

There will also be a forest concert featuring cellist Daichi Aoi and other musicians.

There is no participation fee, but we will be holding a donation drive on the day to help with the running of future events. We ask for your understanding and cooperation.
