第４回KFF Photo Talkは、長年に渡って軽井沢とのご縁がある山口一彦氏のトークイベントです。
「軽井沢の森は、樹木が上品で美しく存在感があり森の中に入ると研ぎ澄まされる。そんな素敵な森をデジタルカメラ、ブローニーカメラ、8×10カメラで撮影している。私の撮影は、美しい風景写真ではなく感覚的な写真である。昨年出版したEXISTENCE Forests Karuizawa (存在 軽井沢の森)の撮影秘話を織り交ぜながら、アートな眼で樹木の撮影の仕方など教えます。そして62年前から軽井沢に来ているので、ジョンレノンとオノヨウコの話しなど昔の軽井沢話しもしたいと思います。」

“In the forests of Karuizawa, the trees are elegant, beautiful, and have a presence that is sharpened when you enter the forest. I photograph these lovely forests with digital cameras, Brownie cameras, and 8x10 cameras. My photography is not beautiful landscape photography, but sensual photography. I will teach you how to photograph trees with an artistic eye, interweaving the secret story of the making of my book EXISTENCE Forests Karuizawa published last year. And since I have been coming to Karuizawa for 62 years, I would like to talk about Karuizawa’s days gone by, including John Lennon and Yoko Ono. “

東京都出身。写真家小林晃氏に師事。テレビ局番組宣伝部在籍後、山口一彦写真事務所設立。
室蘭をライフワークとし風景・人物を撮影。「室蘭」・「室蘭の顔」全国巡回写真展、室蘭市民美術館で開催し同時に各写真集を出版。都内の路線バス車内で「走る室蘭」写真展開催。NHK室蘭特集に特別出演。軽井沢観光会館で「室蘭in軽井沢」写真展開催。 室蘭民報社 第1回「まち・ひと活力大賞」受賞。
アーティスト達の販売サイト 「インテリアあーと/出版」主宰。
山岳写真家の巡礼バルトロ氷河写真集プロデュース。ギャラリー企画展「夢彩」写真展。8×10モノクロ「STONE」写真展開催。「地球はともだち」ポスター展参加。北海道150年記念企画写真展「北海道が好き」企画プロデュース。「鹿が舞う町」静岡新聞社より写真集出版。「EXISTENCE Forests Karuizawa」写真集出版と同時に写真展開催。

Kazuhiko Yamaguchi Profile
Born in Tokyo. Studied under photographer Akira Kobayashi. After working in the program advertising department of a television station, established the Kazuhiko Yamaguchi Photography Office.
He has made Muroran his life's work, photographing landscapes and people. Held the "Muroran" and "Faces of Muroran" national touring photography exhibitions at the Muroran Citizen's Museum of Art, and published a collection of his photographs at the same time. Held the "Running Muroran" photo exhibition in a bus in Tokyo, and made a special appearance in NHK's Muroran special. Held "Muroran in Karuizawa" photo exhibition at Karuizawa Kanko Kaikan. Awarded the 1st "Town and People Vitality Award" by Muroran Minpo.
Organizer of "Interior Art/Publishing", a website for artists to sell their works.
Produced the photo book "Pilgrimage Bartolo Glacier" by a mountain photographer. Held a gallery exhibition "Yumesai" and an 8x10 monochrome "Stone" photo exhibition. Participated in "The Earth is Our Friend" poster exhibition. Produced and planned the "I love Hokkaido" photo exhibition commemorating the 150th anniversary of Hokkaido. Published a photo book "Deer Dance Town" from Shizuoka Shimbun. EXISTENCE Forests Karuizawa" published by Shizuoka Shimbun.
Served as a judge for the photography division of the "WorldSkills Olympics and Abilympics," a national skills competition for people with disabilities.
Juror for "Photography Fest in Muroran" in Muroran City, Hokkaido.
Lecturer at Edogawa Ward Culture School.
Also participated in many other group exhibitions and awards.
